Dear readers,

I'm writing from Vienna, where I made a vain attempt to complete a half-done article that isn't clicking despite the coffee house atmosphere, where my freshly updated devices are encountering unexpected connection problems (the calendar app has been set to Chinese Standard Time, no kidding) and where I'm constantly rescheduling my plans because the weather is much worse than I had hoped for in my favorite season, autumn. And yes, I'm enjoying plenty of wine here and making time for activities I usually can't fit in (cemeteries! tiny museums! Wirtshäuser in out-of-the-way spots!), which is why – no article this week. I hope for your understanding. The regular schedule will resume next week.
